Tarte Tatin Dot Dot Dot Red is inspired by the famous dots of Yayoi Kusama that invades our wold with her contemporary eye. Uplifting our XIXth century Shirt-dress- that used to be a worker uniform from French artisans- with these red polka dots give it a huge modern twist.
We called it Tarte Tatin with humour because an intern on the company started this collection of dots and he was not supposed to hack the Piece Unique. The “Tarte Tatin” is an accident. It fell on the floor and Mr Tatin became so famous for this upsdie down caramelized fruit tart.
" Embark on a journey of discovery with our Piece Unique, where each garment is not just crafted but creatively reborn. These distinctive pieces begin their life as 19th-century French linen shirts, originally designed for workwear, and are transformed through the skilled hands of artisans in Mexico City into stunning displays of heritage and craftsmanship.
The GPS coordinates stitched into each of our piece's teleport you to point zero: the front of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, kilometre zero, where all French roads begin.
Hand-embroidered in Mexico City: Crafted in the heart of Mexico, the embroidery showcases the artisans skills in these age-old techniques."
