Supporting Women in Rural Bangladesh

' We work with talented handicraft women in rural Bangladesh. The women have the option to work at the community centre or at home to fit in with their family lives'. The women are paid directly. We're proud to support the education, healthcare and livelihoods of the craftspeople in Bangladesh who have become Louise’s “extended family”. 

Another benefit of jute is that it is very strong- our bags can carry between 10 kgs -14 kgs. Each bag contains 450m of jute. Our jute bags are handmade and no machinery is used at all throughout the process, except for the dying. Only Azo free dyes are used.'
